Accommodation

The accommodation in India is very cheap but has very poor standard. The rooms that fit our budget is pretty impersonal with only one bed in the room and cold water in the shower. The advantage of living in India is that most are very cheap and if you do not have any problems with the shitty standard so you can be in the right place!
Food

The best food we found in Goa. In the Rest of India, we have found it difficult to enjoy good Indian food. Back home in Sweden, we love Indian food, especially naan bread but it has been extremely difficult to find it here. Uffe've tried most of the vegetarian species and even if it's okey it is nowhere near as good as we thought it would be! It is difficult, almost impossible to drink red wine and the only beer served at the Kingfisher. The largest and best range of fine food & drink is sadly in turistmeckat Goa.
Sun & Bath

In general, India has relatively poor beaches, far away from Thailand's stark white Strader. Usually shallow bath of muddy water. Had we not been attacked precipice fifteen minutes of vendors, beggars or Indian men who stare after bikini only women had the score has improved. It is not unusual that you get to share the beach with cows and dogs playing tag.
Accessibility and Transport

Easy and cheap to take the bus between the cities, but unfortunately a rather disgusting choice. The buses are crowded and chafförerna playing rally driver. The trains are from the Middle Ages and smelling strong urine from wartime use as a toilet. Everywhere you will be watched as you were an alien. Domestic flights are a convenient but rather expensive option.
Tours & Attractions

We have based this rating from the houseboat tour in Allapey and nature reserve in Kumily, which was the best we've done in India.
Value for Money

Few countries can match India at the price tag. Everything is super cheap, accommodation, meals and excursions. Sometimes, however, what you pay for. Travel around the country are such cheap but incredibly stressful.
Total

Not a country that we will not travel again. The only advantage of India is the cheap living that you may have. Most of the male population part is downright unpleasant. You never get a moment's peace from vendors or beggars. We recommend Thailand thousand times more!
